Our team at Destitute Welfare Trust is a group of compassionate and dedicated individuals who share a common goal — to serve the underprivileged and bring positive change to society. From our founder, Pastor Mr. Sundar Raj, to our volunteers and key supporters, every member plays a vital role in helping children, the elderly, widows, and needy families. Together, we work tirelessly to provide education, food, medical care, livelihood opportunities, and hope to those who need it the most. Our team’s commitment, experience, and compassion are the driving force behind every initiative and impact we create.

MG Sundar Raj is the definition and soul of Destitute Welfare Trust (Helping souls) which is a vision come to reality due to the immense amount of hard work and dedication that he has shown towards this organization and towards life itself.

He was a living the life of a successful banker supporting the needs of his family and volunteered for other non-profit organizations, where he encountered experiences of poor children not having a fair chance at education, people suffering from the diseases like cancer affected children living without basic amenities like proper food and clothing. These experiences provoked him to make profound changes in his life, making him to reevaluate his paradigm.

 This personal transformation in led to the birth of Destitute Welfare Trust, paving the way to contribute to the society and becoming a place for other like – minded people to join and together bring joy to people’s lives.

His efforts started with taking small steps towards bringing happiness to orphaned underprivileged children where with the help of sponsors, the children were provided with delicious, sumptuous meals and new clothing during Christmas on every year. From there on, he has led the Destitute Welfare Trust  team by making strides in current deficits like educating children, woman empowerment, disaster relief and cancer prevention efforts.

Mr. Sagayam is a key trustee and the main pillar of Destitute Welfare Trust. He actively identifies and supports needy individuals, ensuring that help reaches the right people at the right time. He plays a vital role in mobilizing resources, connecting donors with the trust’s mission, and overseeing initiatives that serve children, the elderly, widows, and underprivileged families. His dedication, guidance, and tireless efforts are invaluable to the trust’s success and impact.
